Celia Lury …
Martin Tironi is a sociologist. He undertook his Bachelor’s degree at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC), completed his Master’s degree at Université Paris-Sorbonne V., and PhD/Post-Doctorate at the Center for Sociology of Innovation, École des Mines de Paris. In 2018 he undertook a Visiting Fellowship at the Centre for Invention and Social Process at Goldsmiths, University of London. Martin is currently a Professor and researcher at the School of Design PUC. His research areas include digital technologies and mobility, urban infrastructures and cosmopolitical design. He is currently developing a research project (Fondecyt, 2018-2021) titled “Datafication of urban environments and individuals: analyzing the designs, practices and discourses around the generation of digital data in Chile”.
Matías Valderrama Barragán is a sociologist and Master in Sociology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His areas of interest are Digital Culture, Media Studies, Social Movements, Digital Methods, Analysis of Networks and Digital Media, Social Theory, among others. He currently participates in the research project (Fondecyt, 2018-2021) titled «Dataficación of urban environments and individuals: an analysis of the designs, practices and discourses of the production and management of digital data in Chile».
Scott Wark is a Research Fellow for the ‘People Like You: Contemporary Figures of Personalisation’ project, which is funded by a Wellcome Trust Collaborative Award. He is based at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies at the University of Warwick. He researches online culture, amongst other things.
